Every year, we partner with the Nebraska Children's Home Society (NCHS) to gather the community to purchase gifts for foster kids that would not otherwise have presents to open on Christmas. This year, we have our Christmas Trees set up in the Scooter's on 156th and Pacific and Eleven Eleven Wine Sellers in Benson. These trees have ornaments that each represent a child in the foster care system. We ask that those that take an ornament, purchase and return the unwrapped gift to the location by Sunday 12/11.
Any ornament left on the tree will be purchased by the Omaha Jaycees. Those that would like to come shopping for gifts with us can sign up here. We'll be going to the Walmart on 128th and L to purchase the gifts, then immediately take them to the NCHS on Tuesday 12/13 at 5:30PM.
