The Omaha Jaycees will be volunteering with City Sprouts! City Sprouts is a local non-profit who's mission is to provide healthy food and nutrition through their free community garden. Their garden is sustained throughout the year with volunteers as well as a summer internship for young teens. The Jaycees will be volunteering to help prep their site for the upcoming growing season on Saturday, April 16 from 9-11AM. City Sprouts also has a free food/fridge pantry to support their community. They accept donations such as toiletries, canned goods, grab-and-go snacks, feminine hygiene products, diapers, books, warm clothes, blankets, etc.
